Coffee Seeds

Coffee Seeds, more commonly referred to as green coffee beans, are the raw, unroasted seeds of the Coffea plant. These seeds are the source of the globally beloved beverage—coffee. Before roasting, coffee beans are light green in color and packed with natural antioxidants, especially chlorogenic acid, which is largely lost during roasting. As a result, green coffee is often sought after for its health benefits, especially in the nutraceutical and weight management industries.

There are two major commercial species of coffee: Coffea arabica (Arabica) and Coffea canephora (Robusta). Arabica beans are known for their smoother flavor and lower caffeine, while Robusta beans are stronger and higher in caffeine content.
